Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
The short answer is that there is nothing here to opt out of, and this page exists to say so plainly rather than to leave you wondering.
1. We do not sell your personal information
HaulX LLC does not sell personal information, and never has. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising — the practice the phrase “sell or share” is aimed at under California law. TCG Bolt carries no third-party advertising, no ad networks, no advertising based on who you are, no advertising trackers, and no third-party marketing pixels. Sellers can pay for a listing to be placed higher; those placements are labeled, and they use none of your personal information.
Said the way the statute asks it: in the preceding twelve months we have sold no categories of personal information and shared none for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we have no plans to. The same is true of every twelve months before that, because the marketplace has never worked any other way.
There is consequently no opt-out to submit. If that ever changes, this page becomes a working opt-out form and the change carries a new effective date on the Privacy Policy.
2. What we do share, and why it is not a sale
Running a marketplace means passing some information to the parties who make a transaction happen. None of it is exchanged for money or for anything else of value, and none of it goes to an advertiser:
- Your shipping address goes to the seller of the collection you bought, so they can post it. That seller only, that order only.
- Your handle is public. It appears on listings you post and at your profile address, which is the point of it.
- Service providers process data on our instructions and for no purpose of their own — payments, shipping labels, hosting, the database, email and file storage. There is no analytics vendor: the usage counts we keep are our own rows in our own database, and no third party receives them. Every processor is named in the Privacy Policy.
3. The rights you do have
Depending on where you live, these may apply regardless of the above, and we honor them for everyone rather than checking your state first:
- To know what personal information we hold about you and where it came from.
- To a copy of it in a portable form.
- To correct anything inaccurate.
- To delete it, subject to what we are required to keep. A completed sale is a financial and tax record and we cannot erase it on request — we will tell you that plainly rather than quietly keeping it.
- To limit how sensitive personal information is used. We do not collect any: no government identifiers, no financial account numbers, no precise location, no biometrics. Seller identity documents go to Stripe and never reach us.
4. How to exercise them
Email support@tcgbolt.com from the address on your account, saying which right you are exercising. Using the account address is how we confirm it is you; if you cannot, we may ask for something else that matches what we already hold.
We respond within 45 days. Where a request is complex we may take the further 45 days the law allows, and we will tell you inside the first 45 that we are doing so, and why. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission from you, which we may verify with you directly.
5. If we say no
You may appeal any refusal by replying to our decision, or by writing to support@tcgbolt.com with “appeal” in the subject. A different person reviews it and we answer within 60 days with what we decided and why. If we refuse the appeal we will tell you how to complain to your state attorney general, and that route stays open whatever we decide.
6. If you are under 16
California requires a business to have affirmative permission before selling or sharing the personal information of anybody under 16 — from them if they are 13 or older, and from a parent if they are younger.
We do not sell or share anybody’s information at any age, so that permission is never sought and never needed. The marketplace is in any case not for anybody under 18, and an account we learn belongs to a child is deleted.
7. We will not treat you differently for asking
No price change, no service change, no closed account, no degraded support. Exercising a privacy right is not a reason for any of those, and we do not offer financial incentives in exchange for your data.
8. Global Privacy Control
We honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. Since we do not sell or share personal information, such a signal requires nothing of us today — but if that ever changes, an incoming signal will be treated as a valid opt-out without you having to ask.
